Stephen Thaxter, AFP®

Stephen is the founder and principal of Grand Plan Wealth. He's been a financial adviser for over 20 years, having served his clients through Sovereign Wealth Partners (2015 to 2023) and Macquarie Group,(1991-2015). Prior to that he was the CFO and Company Secretary of BT Innovation, a private equity group and a practicing Chartered Accountant in both Australia and the UK.

Originally from the UK, he migrated to Australia in 1987 and now lives in Bondi with his wife Jessie and sons William and Charlie. In his spare time he surfs and swims. Any energy left over goes toward building self-help financial tools.
