Michael Fava, CFP®

Michael has worked in the financial services industry since 1992, and has experience in several areas including personal lending, commercial lending and financial planning. Michael has been a financial planner since 1999 and his role at NAB Financial Planning as a Financial Planner and Senior Financial Planner spanned 12 years. Fava Financial Planning was established by Michael in 2012. At that time Michael transitioned from a highly successful employed Senior Financial Planner role to become a self-employed adviser. After growing the business significantly, and having won several awards for business excellence and being regarded and respected as a leader in the provision of financial planning advice in the area, Fava FP was purchased by Forbes Fava Financial Planning in 2021, and Michael now works as a part-time financial adviser with Forbes Fava Financial Planning. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree, and a Diploma of Financial Planning (DFP), a leading education course of study for Financial Advisers. He also has achieved the globally recognised Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA).
