The FPA Riverina Chapter Committee invites you to join us for a breakfast event on Wednesday 18 October, at the Mantra Pavilion Hotel.
‘Estate Planning: Critical Issues for Planners’
Cristean Yazbeck, Managing Director at Hamilton Blackstone Lawyers will explore emerging risks and trends impacting financial planners and the delivery of advice to their clients, including:
• Binding and non-lapsing death benefit nominations, and the planner’s role in the process
• Recent cases concerning the insurance duty of disclosure, and why planners can be caught
• How and when planners might owe a duty of care to their clients.
