Succession, Progression and our Professional Futures

 The FPA Gold Coast Chapter invites you to lunch and a lively panel discussion on Friday 12 October at Lakelands Golf Club.

With the rise in compliance obligations, the fallout from the Royal Commission and the education standards looming, many of our members are contemplating their options. Whether you are looking at business succession or career progression, or you want to hear from Bert Van Manen MP about the Federal Government’s Plans at this lunch event we have something for everybody.

For those of you with succession planning on your radar, we have Peter McVeigh, Elston’s Executive Chairman, to provide you with some guidance on your options. Peter will address the factors influencing the industry now, why you should plan for succession and how to prepare yourself and the business. He will also provide tips and traps to keep you on the right path.

Our profession is emerging, how do we grow and meet the likely changes facing financial planners today? With Education Standards, the FASEA exam and increased scrutiny from the Royal Commission impacting our profession, we ask our Federal Government how we can navigate through the changes and best meet the needs of consumers.
