FPA ACT Chapter Autumn Round Table Workshop
Tuesday 20 March 2018, 12:00pm to 2:00pm
The FPA ACT Chapter Committee invites you to an Autumn Round Table Workshop on Tuesday 20 March at the Royal Canberra Golf Club.
At this event you will hear from three experts – our facilitators will talk about ‘End of Life Strategies in Practice’, in particular:
Business Models and Advice Fees – what is prevalent in the market, what are we seeing and what is valuable when buying or selling a practice? – Alisa Honeyman (Fitzpatricks Private Wealth);
Estate Planning and the Pension Transfer Balance Cap – what are the limits, their implications and how do we consider these in the light of our Estate Planning advice for clients – Tim Morton (Farrar Gesini Dunn);
Demystifying the Myths around ESG – James Harding (Ausbil Investment Management).
The three specialists will facilitate discussion tables with a speed dating theme. At the tables, you will have 20 minutes with each specialist in an intimate grouping and a chance for direct and personal feedback.
We will also provide an update from the FPA on current issues and a brief presentation from our sponsor, Ausbil Investment Management, on their solutions available to assist us in better servicing our clients.
A buffet lunch will be provided and there will also be a chance to network with your peers during this time. Everyone will have an opportunity to access each table but you don’t have to go to all of them, just the ones that interest you.
