FPA roadshows to support planners in delivering a superior client experience

The Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) 2016 National Roadshow will support financial planners in the provision of further advice.

Kicking off in Frankston Victoria, on the 27th of April, the FPA National Roadshow will visit 33 locations nationally from April to July. The FPA has partnered with Challenger for the event and registration for each location is now open.

Dante De Gori CFP®, FPA CEO, said: “This year’s roadshow will build on the learnings from last year, and provide practical guidance on how to provide further advice that supports the original advice and helps the client review and meet their goals and objectives.

“We’ll also provide delegates with an update on the changing legislative landscape, particularly the new education and professional standards, which is the area our members are most concerned with right now.”

Mr De Gori went on to say that the National Roadshow is a great opportunity for the FPA team to meet members in person.

“The FPA has 31 Chapters across the country and we spend three months on the road each year meeting members face-to-face. The roadshow events also enable us to hand-deliver useful tools such as workbooks to support our members through a changing landscape.

“Our ultimate aim is to guide members on how to adapt to changes in legislation, and help them meet their best interest duty through guides, fact sheets, Q&As and videos which are available in the Member Centre 24/7.”

Challenger’s Chief Executive, Distribution, Marketing and Research, Paul Rogan said: “We are committed to supporting the professional development of advisers and recognise the increasing demand for ongoing education, particularly around growing speciality areas such as longevity management and aged care.”

All roadshow events are free of charge and open to FPA members and non-members. Attendees will receive two CPD hours. Each session will include Q&A time and a complimentary breakfast or lunch.
