Back by popular demand: Andrew Denton to speak at FPA Professionals Congress

The Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) is excited to announce the return of popular media personality Andrew Denton as a keynote speaker at the 2016 FPA Professionals Congress. Having made his debut at Congress in 2014 in Adelaide, the television broadcaster, producer and writer is back by popular demand.

FPA CEO, Dante De Gori, CFP® said Andrew’s Congress presentation will be sure to get planners thinking and talking.

“Andrew is the highest rated speaker in Congress history. Last time, planners raved about Andrew’s talk on the characteristics of a successful leader. This year, we expect similar reviews when Andrew talks about an ethical dilemma that is close to his heart,” said Mr De Gori.

“Without giving too much away, I can say that I expect this presentation to get all who attend thinking, as it’s an issue that many of us have strong feelings about. This is a topic that could effect any one of us, or a friend, client or relative,” said Mr De Gori.

Andrew has worked in Australian media for over 25 years, with a career spanning writing, presenting and radio hosting. He has produced acclaimed television programs such as Enough Rope with Andrew Denton and The Gruen Transfer, and is a sought-after public speaker.

As a keynote speaker, Andrew is the latest addition to an all-star lineup including Olympic hero Anna Meares.

Mr De Gori called on planners to take advantage of the final days of early bird registrations.

“There are just six days left to save $150, with early bird registrations closing Wednesday 31 August. For those planning to attend Congress, now’s the time to register and start planning your trip to Perth,” said Mr De Gori.
