Phillip Gillard, CFP®

Phil is a Private Client Adviser in Shadforth Financial Group’s North Sydney office. Phil is a member of SFG’s Investment Management Group and has often presented at the Chartered Secretaries Association and Society of CPA discussion groups. Phil holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Western Sydney. He is also a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner and a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia. He also holds a Diploma of Financial Planning and an Investment Training College Certificate in Financial Planning. Phil was ranked in the top 50 financial advisers across Australia through the prestigious AFR Smart Investor Masterclass for Financial Planning 2013. Phil commenced financial planning in 1996 in a Godfrey Pembroke practice in Sydney’s CBD. In 1998 he was recognised by Godfrey Pembroke with an ‘Outstanding Achievement’ award and was offered partnership in 2001. Phil provides advice to a wide range of clients with particular interest in helping time poor professionals and executives to simplify their financial affairs and keep them on the ‘optimum path’ to achieve their financial goals and objectives. Phil lives on Sydney’s North shore with his wife and their four children. Phil loves sport, with his main passions being cricket and golf. He sat on the Committee of the Lindfield District Cricket Club for a decade, one of the largest cricket clubs in Australia and coached 19 teams .
